>>For sure you and Ray must be in the Caribbean today!<<

Which is for sure better than having the Caribbean in Bernard; we were worried about that last fall.

Sorry, couldn't help myself <g>

Cheers, Tuck

O.T.

For sure you and Ray must be in the Caribbean today!

Just for some Geographic & historic reminiscence: <g>

The Caribbean Sea is that portion of the Atlantic Ocean delimited by the South coasts of Cuba, Haiti-St.Domingo & Puerto Rico & the East coasts of the Antilles, which arch in a South-West direction towards the North coast of Venezuela. That North coast of Venezuela together with the North coasts of Colombia, Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras & the East coast of Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula.<g>

Los "Caribes" fueron "los indios" that originally populated all those islands before the spaniards arrival.<g> (In Cuba we also had the Siboneyes & the Tainos, which were more pacific inclined than the Caribes ,which were strong warriors and had their heads deformed by applying an elastic gadget to the infants causing their forehead to tilt backwards.<g>)

caribbean-guide.info

Here in the Ft.Lauderdale area we don't have to worry much about the Caribbean Sea during the hurricane season (I used to take that into account when my home was on the South coast of Cuba.) Now we only have to deal with the Atlantic Ocean.<g>
