I think you have a knee-jerk response to any form of change and assume it must be bad. Not at all. I've spent a lifetime as a certifiable change agent. If I ruled the world, there would be massive change. I just have too much systems background to go for changes that don't make sense or that are not cost effective or useful. I can't find any that in what you proposed. and change for the sake of change is dumb, IMO. First you need a problem or an opportunity...
