It's not an easy task to solve

The only way to get rid of income disparity is as I specified. I double dog dare you to come up with another option. You have to control the means of production and dole out equally. If there is any kind of a market at all, some will get more and some will get less.

You have to accept a certain amount of income disparity.

The gap does increase over time

Not necessarily. All this stuff fluctuates. It doesn't just keep going in one direction and the thing that changes it doesn't have to be unhealthy. It might be, but it doesn't have to be. Look at how the crime rates fluctuate. Just when it starts to look like every other person is a criminal, rates start going down. Then they go up. Then they go down. When the cycles are long, it looks to us who live it like a slippery slope but it's probably not.
