I am very partial to the mixed economies found in Scandinavia. There are some fabulously wealthy people there, but it doesn't cause so much social unease since it is much less of a zero sum game. In general the people seemed to work as hard as they had to for their own goals, and not work much harder for someone elses. Companies have to treat their employees reasonably when they know that if they are layed off they aren't going to starve or be forced to sleep in the woods. TP
