AS it depends how you look at it. republicans inherited horrible economy from democrats in 1980 and turned it into booming economy. Clinton inherited booming economy and turned it into BIG recession by the end of his administration. Now it is up for republicans to repair it again .... Clinton killed realistic national health care alternatives offered by republicans and the independent actuarial task force. He waisted taxpayers money to keep hillary busy in spite of the objections from the experts (the actuarial task force). Clinton failed to put breaks on booming economy (Greenspan is in control of rates only but not taxes) which resulted in severe recession Clinton's peacekeeping venture in the ME resulted in a total disaster Clinton's response to the terrorist attacks looked more like good will gesture rather than real military actions ......
