Maybe so, but why is it that 99% of suicide bombings are committed by Muslims?

re: You evidently know virtually zero Muslims. You seem to think that in general ME Muslims are rabid hungry dogs waiting to attack non-Muslims in the same way they would devour raw beef. Your belief appears to come from what you see on TV and read in the newsprint.

But I do know many. I went on picnics and even was invited a number of times to visit a mask and even went there twice. One of my very good friends is a religious muslim and an extremely nice guy.

That does not change the fact that there are millions (and I do mean millions) of muslims out there with very extreme views. And I do doubt it very much that if someone would kill 3 thousand civilians in Cairo that people in the west or Israel would celebrate it like they did it in Cairo after 9/11.

Elroy,

re:News media, as you know, reports primarily killings and riots and sensational out of the ordinary dramatic events. News media does not report when a family goes on a picnic.

You're right - happens everyday in Iraq, only the deaths make the news - you'd think everyone stays inside hiding all day.

I'm right, you're wrong. That's the fact.

Actually, you are wrong and I'm right. I said hundreds of thousands of Muslims were demonstrating against the cartoons and here's the proof:

news.bbc.co.uk
On Thursday hundreds of thousands of Shia Muslims turned a religious ceremony into a protest against the cartoons, while thousands marched in South Africa and Bangladesh.

Mass anti-cartoon rally in Beirut
Tens of thousands of Shia Muslims in Beirut turn an Ashura rally into a protest
Tens of thousands of Shia Muslims held a peaceful protest in Beirut
Hundreds of thousands of Shia Muslims in Lebanon have turned a religious ceremony into a protest over cartoons satirising the Prophet Muhammad.

So keep thinking that Muslims are just like everyone else and that they are reasonable. The FACT is that Muslims are going haywire over a silly cartoon. That is as unreasonable as it gets.
