Its going to be very hard to forgive any of the gang that brought suicide bombing to Israel. I cant imagine ever forgiving bin laden for what happened here. But look at world history and look at the number of times folks who did horrendous things get a pass when another countries national interest is at stake. And some time those countries are democracies.
Its like when rabin shook arafats hand---it turned out to be a mistake for israel but it doesnt follow that all such handshakes are doomed to failure. The national interest of palestine arabs and iran for that matter should focus on better relations with the West more so than anything else. If only they could see it and act upon it the way Sadat tried and Turkey does.
