I think that Harper has a Master plan to slowly introduce honesty into the Canadian System of Government, but he has to move slowly because he has been warned about the severe effects to Canadians, if after 13 years of Liberal Rule, all of a sudden the government stopped lying and stealing and treating them like morons...... Watch for a gentle move to slowly introduce more and more honesty to government, just as quickly as The Conservatives think Canadians can learn to deal with it.

fresc...."This is what Harper said would never happen if He was elected.".... Gees, I didn't know Harper said that there would NEVER be jumping from one party to another or that unethical behavior would NEVER happen if he were elected. I do recall him saying his government would try to clean up government and I do remember Him saying that mistakes would likely occur in his government....But NEVER... no politician worth his salt would use that word. :-) I could be wrong so maybe you could provide a link to harper saying that. ?
