Bush and Enron/Lay were joined at the hip. Clinton and Rubin had nothing to do with Enron besides the relationship any big corporate concern would have with the powers that be in DC. Enron spent a ton of money on lobbying, but the vast majority of it went to Bushie republicans.

Read the book "The Dirty Truth" about the long relationship between Bush and Texas oil-gas-chemical polluters, first and foremost Enron and Lay.

ANyone who tells you Clinton or Rubin was in any way to blame for Enron's corruption is a bald-faced liar. Clinton was the victim of Enron and their secret sneaky energy deregulation schemes. So was Grey Davis. This was a plot hatched in Texas to defraud US consumers out of hundreds of billions and at the same time to put Texas oil-friendly politicians in charge of the GOP and the country. And it was carried out with the knowledge and approval of Bush, Cheney, Rove and Bush family counsel and Carlyle topper James Baker.
