The stock ticker is NERX: Here's what's going on with it.

biz.yahoo.com

I know nothing about this company but I will tell you how it came to my attention.

In the article it mentions that MPM capital bought 30% of the company. Although it doesn't mention this is the article, the money was a significant portion of that hedge funds capital to the extent that the fund notified its investors of the purchase.

I work with a foundation that invests in hedge funds and received this notice. I also interviewed the fund manager last April before we invested, so I know him and think pretty highly of him. Given his willingess to take on such a position, I assume he must be extremely confident of the pipeline. Also, his commitment likely means that this company will get its products out, if there is decent money to be made.

I have done no DD here, but I took a small position, which was easy because it trades at about a buck. Notice the near delisting prior to the hedge fund stepping in.

Anyway, that's all i know, and I don't know what sort of waiting perioed you'd be looking at here before you would stand to make a good return if the bet pays off. I think a small bit tucked away seems pretty reasonable and painless. FWIW
