I've looked closely at these companies. The problem is they are all overpaying for their collections portfolios, so just more Risklove "buy everything" indiscriminately behavior. There needs to be a credit spread blowout in collections receivables too. Of course that may happen when the turnips have even less to bleed. I think the best environment for these guys will be collecting from Bullies and Bully wannabes who have lots of toys and things that can be liquidated, and at the same time liquidity and "investment, sic speculation" drys up for collections receivables.
