The trade you refer to occurred on the USA OTC market. There is little to no trades on that market and when it does trade it is very sporadic on little volume. I don't think the trade was material and had absolutely no correlation to the news release.

Another point that re-enforces this is at the time the trade took place the seller could have sold it on the canadian market (TSX-Venture) at a higher price at market.
