If I remember rightly, the USA told everyone to get out of town as they were going to rumble the Islamic Jihadists who were there. They gave them a few days to evacuate. It would not be wise to remain in such a place after such a warning. The USA military doesn't pretend that they don't cause bystander casualties. Heck, they even kill their own, and Canadians, inadvertently [or carelessly, or deliberately]. Tillman was one example. Of course it's not surgical strikes with only the evil-doers being hurt. <Canada suffered its first combat deaths since the Korean War in April 2002 when a U.S. Air Force pilot flying a surveillance mission mistakenly bombed a group of Canadian soldiers, killing four and wounding eight others. A joint U.S.-Canadian inquiry into the “friendly fire” incident found that the American pilots did not follow proper procedures. > I think blown to pieces would beat head-hacking. But I think white phosphorus burning on my skin would be quite unpleasant too. Though a friend cooked her forearms with burning cooking oil and she said it didn't hurt. I suppose it did later. But if one is fully cooked there isn't any later. Personally, I think it would be much better if Islamic Jihad would put away their scimitars, hold a nice election on libertarian principles and buy a lot of CDMA cyberphones, living happily ever after. But that's not what evil-doers like doing. Look at Helen Clark for example; one of the evil doers = robbing taxpayers and giving the loot to child torturers in exchange for their votes. Anyone who resists is met with force of arms, killed, or imprisoned. Mqurice
