Whether this is true or not, it is certainly not Bush who implemented these policies. Right, Bush took these policies and aggressively expanded on them. If you think things are bad now imagine the world if Bin Ladin or one of his ilk controlled Saudi Arabia. It is a cliche to say that 9/11 was a wake up call. What about the marine base? The USS cole? THe first world trade center bombing in 93? Come on - these radicals have been gunning for us for a long time now. Before we were over in the middle east - russia was there - before them the french foreign legion - who before them? Clinton had a strike force that could have killed bin laden - that would not have changed the macro issues of why all these independents want your head on a platter. Bin Laden didn't need money or power - he already had plenty - I thought his family controlled all the contsruction business in that region? You know my niece told me her and her friends have these guys they hang out with that they USE for rides, dinners, free money, buying beer - etc etc - you know I would get tired of being a PAWN like that time after time - I would begin to get UPSET and ultimately stop having anything to do with these LEECHES sucking me dry for thier own self interest while not considering my needs or happiness. I pity all these sucker men I meet where it takes DECADES if at ALL for them to wake up that all the kindness in the world for these LEECHING bitchz is not going to be reciprocated - some become very violent when they accept this reality - I expand that narrow idea out to macro thinking and what does that leave you? People see me and you sucking down starbucks and watching fear factor and they dont and that does not make them happy - now ahahah says well blow up those people and that hate dies with them - that is one way to deal with thier unhappiness I suppose. I cant believe a man who just had his house blowed up by a drone airplane and lost 24 relatives is not going to be a little pissy. Why does economic survival have to be based on death and killing innocent people and WAR instead of new technology and research and educating the people we are killing and instead turning them into scientists and engineers to fix the worlds problems with research and development?

All blow back joe it is their oil not ours. I guess you think it would be okay for an occupying nation to come to Oregon and get the timber, go to Kansas and get the wheat and go to Ohio and get the corn and go to California and get the produce. The lying about WMD, the violation of the Geneva conference on torture, the spying on citizens when we had FISA or whatever it is, etc etc. You got on blinders. Not one time have you acknowledged that by putting the Shah in power in the 50's with his secret police and the friendship with the Saudi's and their secret police and the placing of Saddam in power and his secret police in the 70's may not cause a little blow back. Come on Joe think about it. We helped create the problem if we were not the direct cause. Come on Joe I respect you but I also think you are smarter than this. Forget politics. The whole situation is sick. The budget, the Fema/NO mess etc. etc. Come on this guy and his admin is the worst thing that ever hit the US. Here is my internet confession I voted for Bush in 2000. Never again, I have the ability to change my mind. Others who are so closed minded never do. Now we have half the nations in the Western Hemisphere going Socialist because of the backlash against our decades long policies. Much of this happened before George and was endorsed by both sides of the aisle but he AIN"T helping. We don't own the world nor do we own the religions of the world. tom
