Sixty, just so you know: I'm cross-posting some of the SUN info provided by you at the AMD board.

On SUNW: I keep thinking about moving into SUNW but have managed to refrain every time as I don't see a full turn around yet. Most of SUN hardware is based on lagging SPARC (lagging because although Niagara is intriguing it is a niche product, and all other SPARC products lag competition). Opteron is doing rather OK for SUN. SUN's software products are doing pretty much OK as well. But without mainstream SPARC being more competitive I don't see a complete turn around story. Once I see evidence that SUNs Galaxy line + its software products + to some extent Niagara allow a turn around despite the lagging mainstream SPARC products I'll probably change my mind.
