just sold my puts a moment ago when goog dipped to 355.

they were so far in the money that they weren't even going up in value anymore as the stock dropped. the MMs were just taking away time premium.

still, got out for a nice profit.

Analysts can do nothing to support a stock beyond using words.

Buy side analysts use words to influence the funds, sell side analysts can influence their clients, and then it's up to the funds/clients to take action. However it's like saying the President can't go to war beyond using words, but when he gives the go ahead you can be damn sure the troops will be moving.

GV, I know all this. I've been trading for over 10 years & understand the market pretty well. Please, just think & respond to the concept I'm writing about as opposed to dissecting every word.
