It may be that it is clear a pardon isn't in the cards, and it is time to make the best deal possible. I doubt that, even if Libby were to get a few years, he'd come out to a great job as some sort of analyst at a think tank. Say, Senior Analyst on Gay Sex or Prison Affairs... As far as Fitz and the GJ, the only people who know, aren't talking. Per usual. On an unrelated topic, it looks as if Brownie has charged off the reservation and is rampaging through town.
