Sure they do - when the house prices get cheap - they gonna need lots of money to buy them up for low eh? You have noticed banks getting into the REAL ESTATE business right and this pissing off the NAR.

I remember derivatives blog guy said in the early 30's bank were sopping up all that easy money and boosting reserves big time. So hoover shut off the money pumps.
