If you're waiting for evidence of anything in this market don't hold your breath. Everything's an idea or a concept which you accept or disagree with. Many people love The Max-Pain idea because its an inherently cynical concept. Imagine, Market Makers actually manipulating the market to suit their profit motives. However, unless there's enormous collusion among these same market makers it's almost impossible to influence stock prices in any dramatic way. And, of course, there's no evidence to prove it one way or another!
