No. Not all.. just like Clinton inherited his good fortune.. You know something called the cold war was ended and the good times rolled... ... really in my view... both the Dems in the US and the Libs fell into plain good luck.. If Martin was such a hot shot Finance minister why o why did he need to rape the provinces and municipalities to balance the budget with all that Liberal wizardry ?

Hear the latest job report on how many manufacturing jobs were lost ? A Liberal legacy no ? Why the Loonie is tanking today ... Tell me now I guess that is Harper's fault right ? I wish you would look past the words liberal and conservative...

fresc....."O.k, He might of got the ball rolling but to not give Libs credit for over a decade of a good economy. C'MON!".....

I think I asked you this before and will try again...other than raising or lowering interest rates or taxes what exactly can a government do to create a good economy.

IMO our economy like the rest of the world depends on the global economy and has very little to do with what our government can do. any government lib or conserv.

Now I am being very polite ...again... I could be wrong on this and am willing to learn... any thoughts?
