Except the President of the United States has a positive legal duty not to reveal classified information and no one in the media does.

Excuse me? The President has Executive Authority to declassify material if he deems in necessary. People in media, on the other hand, have an obligation to obey the laws of the country. Revealing classified information is illegal. Though they seem to think that the laws don't apply to them.
