Yes, it appears a mistake was made in that case. However in defense I would point out that Brown did do a decent job in some other weather related disasters prior to Katrina, but they were smaller in scope. I think this is a situation where a man got too big of a head and grew into too big of a position. Had he just been a team player though he probably would still be holding his job. He had plenty of help he COULD have called rather then attempting to boost his ego by talking to a w/h administrator who in reality had absolutely nothing to do with FEMA or HOMELAND Security. Personally, I think that general I saw being interviewed ought to be replacing all of them. He's the man!! jdn
