Hamas buried Oslo. If peace is ever to be made it will be made by enemies whose mutual interests exceed the things that made them hate each other in the first place. Hamas might not even conciously know this yet and may never accept it and choose to commit suicide rather that becoming peaceful. Am i wrong in remembering Putin coming to Israel and cozying up to the Russian Jews early on in his presidency. Former Soviet/Arab alliance, Soviet Jews moving to Israel, an insurgency in chechnya and a desire for the NEW_SSR to be an international player once again make all the Putin moves very interesting. Similar to the way Putin has behaved in iran. Hmm. Mike
