"Well, you know, there ARE good Muslims. It just seems that those good Muslims are hard to find among all the crazy ones around the world today."

Don't be ridiculous. For every Muslim you read about in the papers, there are 10,000 at home, simply living their lives like you and me. There are 1.2 billion Muslims, and if a billion of them were rioting, we'd have some REAL cause for concern!

I'm from Austin Texas. When I lived there, Austin had a flood that flooded a couple of low lying areas, a couple of stupid and/or unfortunate people drowned. On the national news, it hilighted the deaths and showed ONLY the flooded areas. Friends from out of town saw it, and called to ask if I was OK. To them, it looked like Austin was under water. I lived on a hill a block from one of the flooded areas. That incident taught me how slanted the national news can be. It LOVES to play up things into disasters - not that it always does so, but it does it OFTEN.

Maybe it's more like the liberal rags and the CNNs of this world have that serious problem finding the good Muslims.

Maybe like when one cannot see the forest for too many (bad) trees!
