Hezbollah will be neutralized overnight, with all their weapons and systems obliterated from the air; helicopter gunships and tanks will do the rest,

Hamas is already beign targeted as is Islamic Jihad and the Al Aksa assholes brigades. Israel has been upping the missle firings and targheted killings in the last few weeks, and no one says a word to them, so as not to awake the right leaning Netanyahu who is biding his time, waiting for Kadima to stumble.

The Gaza withdrawal was meant to refocus the IDF away from police work to protect settlers and to bring up artillery in prep for the coming war with Hamas-and their Egyptian sponsors.

I also recently read a review of the strike on Iran in the WSJ which pretty much charted what I already believed, that we can take care of Iran's nuclear problem in less than one evening.

Two armed Palestinians injured in clashes with IDF in Jenin
By Amos Harel, Haaretz Correspondent, Haaretz Service and The Associated Press

Two Palestinians were wounded, one moderately, during a clash between Palestinian gunmen and Israel Defense Forces troops early Saturday in the West Bank city of Jenin, Palestinian witnesses said.

IDF sources said one Palestinian had been killed in the exchange of fire that took place when paratroopers came to the camp to arrest Islamic Jihad gunmen. However, witnesses said the man, an Islamic Jihad member, was only moderately wounded.

A Palestinian civilian was lightly injured in the leg during the clash, the witnesses said.

The army said two Islamic Jihad members were arrested in the Jenin raid, and a third was detained in Kafr Silat al-Dahar, south of Jenin. However, Islamic Jihad said none of its members were taken by the soldiers. Witnesses said the troops arrested four Palestinians.

In the Gaza Strip, an Israel Air Force aircraft fired three missiles on targets early Saturday, destroying a car but causing no injuries.

Israel Radio reported that the car's passengers managed to escape the strike on the central Gaza town of Dir al-Balah. Minutes later, a missile landed in an open field in the northern Gaza Strip.

Also in the Gaza Strip, a tunnel in Rafah used by smugglers collapsed Friday evening, killing a youth. Rescue evacuated three trapped Palestinians.

Earlier Friday evening, Palestinian militants from Gaza fired a Qassam rocket which landed in an open area near the community of Nativ Ha'asara in the western Negev.

There were no injuried or damage reported in the attack.

Palestinian militants have fired several of the homemede rockets in recent days, one of which landed near a power plant south of the coastal town of Ashkelon.

The Israel Defense Forces carried out several air raids in the Gaza Strip over the last week, where ten Palestinian militants were killed, several of them responsible for the rocket fire.

The army also shelled open areas in the northern Gaza Strip from where militants fire Qassams.
