I believe they will try to stage something equal to or more spectacular than 9/11. To be sure, this will not be easy, given the heightened vigilance, and so it has seemed they didn't try anything since 9/11.

But what I found to be suspect is the very late reporting of terrorists' attempts so very late and long after the "fact".

It is also interesting to note that in the runup to the November 2004 presidential elections, everytime that momentum was shifting towards Kerry, all of a sudden orange and red alerts were issued. I tend to suspect some, if not all, of these "alerts" were intended to scare the public back to Bush. It is equally interesting to note that no alerts were issued after the elections were over! Commonsense would suggest that since Bush "won" there should have been very more alerts on impending terrorists' activities. But there were NONE!!!

Now that Bush badly needs support for his credibility and future intentions in the Middle East, we now hear, out of the blue, about that 2002 incident in LA. Apparently, the Bush Administration approved of that story for public consumption because it realizes that the American public, by and large, are so dumbed down and so apathetic in their thinking, that they will swallow it all, hook, line and sinker!!!
