Hi Brit,
I know you are 100% right and that was a good post. I know the gamble or think I do but I am an idealist in a way maybe a cynical idealist but would like to think these companies are "honest". Ok everyone laugh. So not sure any of them including CGE are dishonest but something smells more than just a bounce back or gold or explorer stock rally.

Excellent post on how you evaluate things. I just saved it.

Thanks,
Tom

Handy Checklist Indeed. Here is how I fill it in.

- what newsletter writers say about them
what they are paid to say

- their exploration focus
your money

- the properties the company has, as well as any JVs
moose, Llama and Iguana pasture, miles from any town.

- the fundamentals (financials, float, market cap. etc.)
insiders have the cheap stock. nominees do the dumping.

- what the charting indicators tell me
when the suckers buy, it rises, when the smart guys stop selling, it stop rising

- the people involved and their track record
for references check your local post office wall

- news release info
when they want it to look good it looks good, and vice versa

- insider trading
offshore gravestones and relatives trade a lot of stock before the fall

- where they are in their lifecycle
the golden phoenix, never finds the big one, but is always going to

- my risk-reward calculations
only rewarded if you sell before they know you are going to

- scuttlebutt on, and outside the net
paid shills can really hook a guy can't they!
