Curious how they're pirating Stern? I didnt think it was possible to decode the SIRI encryption readily. or are they simply re-broadcasting him?

I don't expect pay radio to die off as right now it's the only safe outlet for true free speech. With the silly FCC regs and big conservative companies like DIS and CCU gobbling up stations it leaves diminishing outlets. Add in the christian push to control everything and you can see where this is going.....

now the question is can these XMSR and SIRI keep their heads above water while they try and outdo the other. That's probably their biggest threat- themselves.

edit: you also have the OEM auto makers building autos w/these radios in so that will help. On top of that you have a young generation now that doesn't think twice about spending whatever it takes to have all the electronic gizmos there is. Cost is rarely an issue.

When you can get unlimited free radio on the internet, and wireless clouds continue to grow, why would you pay when you can just get it from the net?
