"claiming to know more of American law than I do?"
Not difficult to claim all things considered.

Why don't you do what I said and check with some of the American lawyers on the site. You're not doing very well in demonstrating an understanding yourself. Or are you unaware of that?

"The contents were embarrassing for the gov't but they could not reasonably justify classification of the information."

Patriot act?
This simply shows the stupidity and ignorance I was referring to. The Patriot Act was not even a twinkle in anyone's eye at the time this happened. And the Patriot Act couldn't override it in any case because it was finally decided by the Supreme Court and it would take a constitutional amendment to override that. The Patriot Act is merely an act of Congress and cannot override provisions of the Constitution."

I was referring to present government actions.

WHich have WHAT to do with the Pentagon Papers case? Or did you think there's a clause that in the US Constitution that says "You can print whatever you want as long as it doesn't upset the govenment." Have you actually noticed that most of those criticixing the Administratiom and GWB are US citizens? Or did you think the got internet access in prison?

Regardless of how much it displeases you, the US remains a democracy. We will that midterm elections this November for all of the House of Representative and 1/3 of the Senate. Whether GWN likes t or not. And in November 2008 we will have Presidential elections. And GWB can't run. He's barred by a Constitutional amendment.

"If you tried that in a courtroom, you'd be lucky if the judge didn't order the bailiff to throw you out on your can."

You brought up ""Truth is an absolute defense in almost all cases." not me.

Against slander and libel? It is. There are a few exceptions be met involving intent. There is also a higher standard that must be met for public figures such as GWB.

"You just claimed that abortion clinics have to meet higher standards than hospital operating rooms."

Now it's time for you to do some research. That is if you want to right an injustice in your country. We don't have that kind of problem in Denmark.

You made the claim. You prove it. I don't prove your arguments. YOU do.

You are blowing smoke. And hoping someone will inhale.

Kaiser is a large American health plan that has its own hospitals. With ORs. Those same ORs are used for abortions. They are sterile, equipped with surgical instruments and drugs and quite capable of carrying out a simple procedure like a routine abortion. And the fact is that abortions here are commonly done in doctor's offices that are not nearly as well equipped.

Not, sonny, if you have proof to the contrary, you'd best produce because as of now you stand convicted of lying.

I make no pretense of understanding the ins and outs of Danish law. Where did you ever get the idea ypu knew anything about ours?

Oh. Here's more from Kaiser.
