Here are two pictures of the Chinese children from countryside who work in the toy sweatshops in GuangDong during their summer vacation. Yes, their families are poor and cannot afford to pay tuition. So the children themselves have to come to GuangDong sweatshops during the summer vacation to make some tuition for themselves. These kids should play toys themselves! NOT making toys for other kids in developed countries! Some of them are as young as 12 years old! What a "wonderful" global economy! Their teachers act as Middle man and even get some bonus. The children have to work as many as 50 days in order to be eligible for getting paid. If for any reason, they worked less than that, then they are NOT going to get paid, NOT even for 1 single penny. Yes, this is ILLEGAL in China too. But local law enforcement poeple either do not know, or sometimes wear the same pair of pants with those sweatshop owners! zggr.org The note book in the picture said "Homework for Summer Vacation". These children had to work on their homework after working 12-14 hours during the day time in sweatshops which were as hot as 100 degree! zggr.org BTW, those free toys along with Macdonald Happy Meals are made by these child labor. And even some of the toys with Disney label on it. MacDonald and Disney are fully award of these! At least when Mao Zedong was alive, these rural kids could study for free!
