If the US and her consumer goes don't all these countries follow suit? Canada is 22%. That is 1998 however.

The flip side of 19.7% is that 80% of Canadian exports go to the States generating 35% of the GDP in the process. All Canada has to offer is commodities and grains. In depression nobody needs/can afford them so we go down like everybody else. We are part of the Ponzi scheme no less then the US and the rest of the world.
