CNN has refused to run the Mohammed cartoons, out of "respect" for Islamic sensitivities. This "respect" is not only depriving their viewers of the chance to exercise their own judgment on whether or not the cartoons are so patently offensive

Everyone that is in the least bit informed or interested has already seen the cartoons elsewhere and don't need CNN to view them. In fact the more information CNN continues to suppress the more viewers they will lose. Cutting off their nose to spite their face so to speak.

As "poor Martha" would say: It's a good thing.

Uh huh. More likely it has to do with respect for the possibility that some Allahmaniac will receive a divine message commanding him to pin a note on a CNN editor's chest with a jambiya, I'm guessing.
