No, I don't want my "team" to win. I want people to win. I never liked Clinton--but he was better than most presidents of recent decades. I never liked Carter either. Most of the candidates I vote for lose. But against the backdrop of Republican administrations, Democrats look good. Against the backdrop of how the Republicans are presently controlling the house--not including Democrats in conference committees, for example--Democrats look good.

What's good for people today is the party that's most in tune with the people. Presently, Republicans are out of tune. And as to "growing up," I'd think recognizing this fact would be a sign of maturity.
