The illegal wiretapping issue is a LOSS for Bush and company. I just watched the expert senators and congressmen debate it and it all came down to Pat Roberts having to lie and exaggerate how hard it is to get a FISA warrant. Then Daschle said "OK, change the FISA law to make it easier" and Roberts had no rebuttal. So obvuiously Bushies just did what the hell they wanted and snubbed their noses at FISA, congres and the Constitution. They probably also spied illegally on domestic political opponents. For this, they deserve the scorn of every freedom-loving American, to be investigated and impeached.
