For such cases, it is probably worthwhile to introduce the concept of "tribe". They share some racial/social/religious characteristics, but are not organized like a nation.

It's just inaccurate rhetoric. What's the nationality of a Polish Jewish person? Do they have dual nationality? What's the nationality of a Jewish gypsey that finally got a Romanian passport, does he have triple nationality? Nationality should equate with citizenship in a nation.
