Although it's not commonly mentioned in mainstream media, the rise in poll showings in Egypt of the Muslim Brotherhood is largely due to Bush. One could also argue Bush policies helped set the table for a significant Hamas showing in the recent Palestinian elections. Fact of the matter is that Bush has tagged America with such a bad name that any opposition party anywhere Planet Earth can now campaign and do better by campaigning on Anti-American platforms. Indeed, one would have to be a rightwing extremist in order to support Bush.
