Then I have no idea who you are arguing with- since I merely said it was a sentiment common to most Americans.

Like Jim Crow- segregation was not something that belonged to one party- it was bigger than that. Since you obviously agree with what I said in the first place, I consider this conversation over.

(Just as something like 70+ percent of Americans were against taking Jewish refugees during WWII- the senitments against blacks and Asians were similarly popular- to our collective shame.)
