re: what's good for Israel is good for the rest of the world whether it is or is not. well, I am an American 1st. This country was very good to me. and, yes, I support Israel partially because I am a Jew but mostly because Israel is the only friend that US got in this part of the world. Israel is the only democracy and the only country in the region that was fighting for peace and the right to exist since its inception. Most of the Americans understand that and the support for Israel comes from both democrats and republicans alike. Of course we also have freaks like you but fortunately only few.
