Clinton and Kerry have always reached out to Republicans, worked with them and become good friends with some of them, Kerry even married one. Kerry also offered McCain his VP slot. McCain is/was a good friend of Kerry. It was Clinton who reached out to Bush Sr. and finally got him to help the less fortunate of the world. Sadly, Bush-Cheney-Delay have no interest whatsoever in working with those who now have the support of the majority of Americans. They go out of their way to stonewall democrats and moderates. Bush-Cheney-Delay are only interested in their own corrupt self-interests. Those of the rightwing industrial-military big oil-big drug-billionaire fat cat combine.
