What is meant by "citizenship"? The term is variously understood, both within a large scholarly literature and in everyday usage, in at least three ways. First, it can be considered as a general, legal membership category, an inclusive grouping of all those who are not "foreigners." This is a definition of citizenship as legal belonging, as nationality.

The earth is the warmest it's been in 1800 years. I just posted that story the other day from a very credible source. They have ways of knowing the temps back then, I guess from digging into the icecaps. And the warming is accelerating at a disturbing rate. It only takes a few degrees to make a huge difference throughout the world in many ways, none of them positive. And this is due to man's enormous burning of fuels during the industrial and post-industrial ages. Every one of us burns a ton of fuel every year. Multiply that times a billion and you get the idea. It matters a lot. Can we stop it or slow it down? Maybe. One thing we know, we have to try. And we need to do something about pollution and getting off Arab oil anyway.

if you are Swedish, then listen to the Swedish experts. Though they like to be warmer, everyone in northern Europe is very concerned, especially about Holland.
