If you find out that the President and a small cabal are secretly breaking laws and your own constitution, in what they claim is a matter of National Security, are you committing treason by revealing this lawbreaking? or *true* patriotism?

What about if it's a democratic President, same answer?

<edit> in case the above rhetorical question is too perplexing, the crime is in the lawbreaking and flouting of the Constitution. Not in the whistleblowing revealing the actions of criminals, no matter how those criminals choose to term their actions.
I'm surprised you seem so easily misled by the WH obfuscation on this.

Treason is Treason, no matter what kind of frosting some want to put on it.

You call it treason, I call it patriotism, and I doubt either one of us will ever see it differently.
