"Global Warming" as this label is used has become a man made event.
Not to be mixed up with the temperature cycles, short or long, which were here long before man and will continue to be part of the nature in spite of what man decides to do for or against it.
No doubt Earth has been warming up in average since last glacial period :)

Also no doubt the average temperature has been on the rise since 1970. Prior to that it was falling between 1930 to 1970. This in spite of the fact that the CO2 levels were increasing slightly all of that same time.

US average temperatures, however, have been completely stable this century. In spite of the rising CO2 levels. The US seems to be exempted from the "Global" greenhouse effects and warming.

Looks like Bush is doing a good job here and thus sees no reason to sign the Kyoto agreement, right? ;)
