I am working upstairs and my wife is watching the View and i was doing a little listening--know thy enemy. These gals independenly came up with the cheney quitting scenario, so the reps could annoint a successor. They all agreed that if it happened now, it would be condi.

"Cheney will resign ... excuse will be health but ... The next VP will be anointed as heir to Bush."

That would clean things up. The problem is that it would look like a weak move. If the successor won in 2008, they would be unlikely to secure a second term. We need to get it out at least two more terms to ensure that Hillary is too old to have a chance. She was sadly born five days early on October 26, 1947. At 61 she might stand a chance. As an Old witch of 69 she should be more beatable.

(Five days after her birth came Halloween, and images of the nightmare that she represents.)
