Re:

Every ant knows the formula of its anthill
Every bee knows the formula of its beehive
They know it in their own way, not in our way.
Only mankind does not know its formula.
Fyodor Dostoyevsky

--- Nice... (of course, Dostoyevsky wasn't talking about evolution, or even science in general.)

Re: PS: do not read too much into the fact that I quoted Dostoyevky, as I have not read any of his works, and the only thing I know about him is what little I read on the internet. I just think the quote fits here.

(you should check out Gogol's Dead Souls then --- great farce about politics (in this case: the late Czars. but it could apply equally well to the Communists.)

Re: PPS: I am not against science...but I am against bad science.

As are we all!

PS --- but the above does not exhaust the list of 'things that I am against'. I'm also against all efforts to enforce political orthodoxy, or restrict what people can think or say... and I'm against all Authoritarian schemes to rule over people, and that especially includes Theocracy, one of the cruelest of Autocratic schemes (because, potentially, it can last for so long, and it often *quickly* degenerates to among the worst of political systems as far as repression of basic human rights).
