Well, as far as the strong dollar, it's not easy (I just found) to find a free service that carries Dollar Charts. The following one is murked up with the author's trendlines but you can see the Greenback isn't as strong as it was 3 months ago.

Yet my premise is that the Fed has done it's part to keep it as strong as it is. A rate drop would hurt it. That's my opinion, I'm not sticking by it. If I'm right I attempt to trade that way, if I'm wrong I try to trade the other way.
