You should have said "incompetent" instead of "human."

If Tenet was not capable of giving the President the benefit of his best thinking, whether the President liked it or not, he should have resigned as being unfit for the job.

Perhaps if he had used a little more backbone, the thinking about WMD and the anticipated strength of the insurgency would have been a bit more objective. Perhaps a great many embarrasments for the nation could have been avoided.
