You lost me on this part. RE: "setting up a camera across the river from Manhattan prior to the first plane hitting and shooting film of the event. We have never gotten a straight answer from Israel what they were doing there. Did Israeli intel know it was about to happen and did not bother to warn us" Israel apparently is well known for having excellent intelligence, so they probably did hear about it and probably did warn the USA, but probably pursued their own investigations because the USA probably ignored their warning. You'll note there were several media reports indicating foreign countries warned the USA. However, the US culture tends to respond to events that occur, not preventive warnings. RE: "For some reason, Bush has ignored this issue" He doesn't gain anything by saying he ignored warnings from foreign countries. He is political. RE: "OBL claiming he was behind 9/11 means very little" Here you are wrong. People who are from that part of the world - have grown so familiar with his terrorist style that they can recognize and identify his patterns. He's never claimed any terrorist event that he has not done. If you read the reports at the Library of Congress that outline decades of global terrorist activity, you'll note they tell you what he did, when he did an attack, and when he claimed it. Even you would recognize his pattern. While he is a cold-blooded murderer, he is honest in his claims - he states what he truly believes and doesn't falsely claim things he hasn't done. RE: "For OBL, IMO he had everything to gain and little to lose claiming al Qaida perpetrated 9/11" No, he would lose his 'credibility' by being dishonest. One of the reasons why many people in the world are sympathetic to his message, is because he states his true beliefs and he doesn't falsely claim things he hasn't done. Regards, Amy J
