I had my roof replaced and bought the best shingles GAF had. About 3 times the cost of other shingles but the tear off and put on was the same. They'll see me out.

Good buys? Back in the early 70s Curlee had a program of Sharkskin suits that they sold for regular sales to retail stores plus kept thousands on hand for special order. $50 wholesale, $90 at retail. Then comes the doubleknit shit. Couldn't give them away.

A guy from Wyoming, who had 5 stores, bought every every suit @ $15. Doubleknit snagged and was cold, he got $180 per suit. Now that's a mark up and he had people waiting to buy.
