Davis was totally hoodwinked by Enron. Enron set up their byzantine trading schemes so that no officials would understand them. It was an intention hoodwinking and it had the 100% support of Bush-Cheney and the RNC. The real goal was more than stealing 50 billion, it was to assassinate Davis's career then replace him with Arnold. This was all figured out very carefully and at the center of it was Ed Gillespie, both Enron's PR wiz and Bush's #2 dirty trickster after Rove.
