Yeah, the energy complex has collapsed too. Was just looking at the natural gas chart. It's pretty ugly if you're long. Ultimately, it's a good thing as the hot money has vacated for a while. Gold has gone from way overbought to way oversold in 4 short trading days. Maybe the market is anticipating a global slowdown, but my money is on a shift of aggregate demand and real competition for increasingly scarce resources. Maybe yes, maybe no, as they say.
